I have been a fan of Late Night since the beginning. While I’m not certain it was from the very first episode (I was only 10 years old at the time), it was definitely during the first season.

Throughout my teen years, I would stay up late and watch every episode during the summer and either record them on VHS or, if I was up late doing homework, watch it live when school was in session.

I’ve grown up with Conan.. I remember showing an episode of Late Night to Sal, a friend of mine since grade school, that had Camel Toe Annie in it. While we were laughing our asses off, his mom walked in and told us to turn it off. I don’t think I was allowed to bring any more VHS tapes of Conan over after that. I’m sure I still snuck some over so we could watch them while his parents were asleep.

Even to this day I’ve watched most of every episode of Late Night thanks to the invention of TiVo.

The last episode of Conan was great, it brought back lots of good memories. Andy Richter stopped by to say hello and goodbye, and a few days later it was announced that Andy will be the new announcer for The Tonight Show. It’s great that Conan and Andy will be back together, any true COB fan understands what I mean.

This evening I received an email that 3 tickets have been reserved for Conan’s June 2nd taping of The Tonight Show. While it would have been awesome if I got tickets for the June 1st taping, I’m more than happy to get tickets sometime during the first week. I have to thank @bigbley for posting this notice on twitter so that I could quickly send an email for the tickets.

Some asshole tried to steal my car by throwing a rock through my window. They must have been spooked by the car alarm since in the 90 seconds it took me to look outside at my car, they were already gone. Now I’m carrying full glass coverage with Progressive, so not only did it cost me $300 to get my window replaced, it’s going to cost me another $200 a year in additional insurance. People suck!

I’ve never believed this whole “Moon Hoax” theory.. maybe it’s because I’m a real space nut and it would just crush me if we really never have landed on the moon. I’ve never looked at the “nonparallel shadows” theory before and that does intrigue me.. We’ll just have to see what Jamie and Adam have to say about it on August 27th!
